Mid-Mitten Weather provides CMU Landscaping with winter storm forecasts on a case-by-case basis, informing them of expected snow totals, ice hazards, and extreme cold. These forecasts help guide campus sidewalk treatments during the winter and ensure the CMU Landscaping team stays safe and prepared for hazardous conditions.

In 2025, Mid-Mitten Weather partnered with ArtPrize, an international art competition held in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to provide forecasts three times per week for visitors.
With nearly 800,000 annual attendees, this collaboration marked the club’s largest partnership to date.
