7-Day Forecast

Updated : April 16th, 2026

Good evening, Mid-Michigan!

A last bit of rain over the weekend is possible, with drier weather finally arriving for the week ahead.

Our only real chance for precipitation in the next 7 days as of right now comes overnight Friday into early Saturday morning, where showers will add to our already heightened flood risk. These showers will likely end around noon, but along with these showers comes a cold front which will bring temperatures back down into possibly below freezing for Sunday night. These temperatures will slowly rebound, and a beautiful week with little to no precipitation and temperatures in the mid-60s look likely.

Have a great rest of your week, and stay safe, especially those in flood-prone areas!

24-Hour forecast

Updated: April 16th, 2026

Good afternoon, Mid-Michigan!

Tonight, yet again we have another round of thunderstorms arriving through the late hours of the night. With continuous rainfall the concern for flooding continues throughout the entire state of Michigan. The NWS has issued a slight risk for the southern part of the lower peninsula. Northern areas are included in a Marginal risk for tonight. Our biggest concern is areas on the East side of the state for severe weather. Gusty winds are up to 20mph with lows around the upper 50’s to mid-60’s.

Tomorrow, the rain and storms will continue but with less severity. Again, gusty winds are expected for areas surrounded by the I-96 Corridor. Highs are expected to be around 70 degrees for most areas.

Stay updated as locations continue to become more prone to flooding! Take caution if you choose to drive through severe weather and stay alert.

Have a good day!
